Abstract
This track explores population health through a lifecourse lens, highlighting how earlylife interventions, preventive care, and supportive services across different life stages contribute to long-term health outcomes. Beginning with maternal and child health through initiatives like Grow Well SG, the discussions will spotlight foundational determinants that influence health trajectories from infancy. The track then examines key adolescent health challenges—including eating disorders and emerging behavioural risks—drawing on clinical and community insights from Changi General Hospital (CGH). As the focus shifts into adulthood and ageing, the sessions will delve into longevity science, healthy ageing strategies, and Singapore General Hospital (SGH)’s approaches to supporting longer, healthier lives. The track concludes with perspectives on palliative care, emphasising person-centred, dignified care at the end of life. Together, these sessions present a holistic, integrated view of how population health strategies can support individuals at every stage of life.
