Dr Ding practises as a geriatrician in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and is the Executive Director of Geriatric Education and Research Institute (GERI). He obtained training in public health and social research methods at University of Queensland and London School of Economics. He also undertook health services research fellowships at Bedford Veterans Affairs (VA) Center for Health Quality Outcomes & Economic Research in Massachusetts, USA, and Institute of Clinical Evaluative Sciences in Toronto, Canada. Dr Ding’s substantive research interests include models of geriatric care, frailty and intrinsic capacity, and geriatric syndromes, while his methodological focus is on quantitative methods, program evaluation, and implementation science.
