Clin Prof Ng’s research expertise lies in the fields of implementation science, digital health, shared decision-making and men’s health. He currently leads EmPaTHy research programme, focusing on translating innovations and evidence-based interventions into routine care targeting patients with multi-morbidities, mental health conditions and dementia. He is particularly interested in discerning the social determinants of health of different populations, specifically understanding how gender, culture and health literacy influence health beliefs and behaviours. Besides research and clinical work, Clin Prof Ng also mentors medical students, residents, fellowship trainees as well as Master’s and PhD students.
