Abstract

Understanding the economic value of prevention is crucial for designing sustainable, impactful population health strategies. This track explores how cost-effectiveness analysis, return-on-investment modelling, and resource allocation principles can guide decision-making for preventive interventions at scale. Discussions will highlight how economic evaluation strengthens the case for early detection, behavioural programmes, and upstream policy action by demonstrating long-term health and financial benefits. Together, these sessions aim to equip participants with a clearer understanding of how health economics can support evidence-based prioritisation and drive sustainable investments in prevention.
