Abstract
Measuring equity is fundamental to ensuring that population health initiatives benefit all groups fairly and effectively. This track examines frameworks and tools for identifying and quantifying equity gaps across access, utilisation, outcomes, and patient experience, and explores how such metrics can guide strategy, planning, and resource allocation. Sessions will also delve into the economics of equity, highlighting both the societal costs of persistent disparities and the value of targeted, equity enhancing interventions. Additionally, distal equity and inclusion will be explored to understand how broader structural and policy factors shape long term health trajectories. Together, these discussions equip participants with practical approaches for embedding equity measurement into population health practice.
