Clin Assoc Prof Chua Mei Chien is a neonatologist widely recognised as a domain expert in childhood nutrition. She established the first and only donor human milk bank in Singapore in 2017 which was accorded multiple cluster and national awards for its clinical impact and service excellence.

She currently serves as the President of the Association for Breastfeeding Advocacy (Singapore), working closely with the Health Promotion Board to promote breastfeeding at a national level. She also serves as the Chair of the Sale of Infant Foods Ethics Committee Singapore (SIFECS) and is a member of the Safe Food Agency (SFA) novel food safety expert working group. She advocates for the health of children in Singapore as the President of the College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Singapore.
