Adj A/Prof Tan Woan Shin works at the intersection of health economics, applied epidemiology and evaluation science. To improve population health, she strongly believes in the translation of research findings to practice and policy. Her research work adopts a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies to support evidence-based health services development, implementation, and evaluation. She is particularly interested in geriatrics and end-of-life care. Woan Shin is experienced in leading multi-disciplinary research teams, and has collaborated with stakeholders in health services, charitable organisations, and government agencies.
